The Placement cell of VISAT is constituted under the leadership of a Placement Officer who provide the right perspective regarding the various career options available to the students and sufficiently train them to choose and pursue their careers of choice. The unique and focused Placement Cell at VISAT possesses strong leadership and a steel determination: ensuring that every student obtains the right perspective regarding their various career options and is equipped with the awareness required to make the right choice. Our highly experienced placement officer is delighted to take them through their various different options and help our students make an informed decision.
We definitely understand that the corporate world has evolved and is looking for curated talents and thereby we nurture our students’ innate talents and shape them without depriving them of their originality and creativity such that they fit into the corporate universe without compromising on who they are. Many of our students are eager to pursue their careers abroad and our placement officers dedicate themselves to training the students such that they are able to channel their academic knowledge in a manner that meets international standards of professional engineering practices.

Talent is present in every student, it's necessary to Groom and Mold the talent according to the requirements of the CORPORATE WORLD, which is the basis of VISAT. We have full-fledged Placement and Training cell, which monitors the employment opportunities and arrange campus interviews for the students. At VISAT we concentrate on providing the students with Placement oriented training from the 1st year.
What will our Placement Officer do for you?
- Oversee the drafting and implementation of the Placement Programme
- Runs and supervises the placement program and ensures the successful implementation of the same.
- Establish the framework and process of assessment
- Give regular and constructive feedback on your performance
- Provides formal supervision at a regular meeting time
- Provides an overall assessment of your performance.
The department of Training and Placement has these following functions and responsibilities :
- Facilitates and promotes standard amounts of interaction between the institution and the industry through the organization and coordination of Industrial Visits, Implant Training and projects of industrial relevance for the students to work upon and gain thorough insight regarding the expected skills and prevailing standards.
- Helps every student define his/her career interest through individual expert counseling
- Every student is enriched with personalized attention and encouraged to define their career interests through expert counseling.
- We provide our students with an up-to-date database of the different companies seeking to hire, along with the expected job profile so that each student can narrow down their top choices.
- Organizes and eagerly conducts a dedicated Campus Placement Program in an effort to fulfill the department’s commitment of securing a job for every aspiring candidate.
- Organizes and coordinates Campus Placement Program, to fulfill its commitment of a job to every aspirant
- Organizes Workshops on Soft Skill Training
- Enriches personality of students by cultivating important traits and skills such as integrity, reliability, team work, entrepreneurship skills, communication skills and utilization of modern tools and technologies, among others.
